Thermal Imaging Scan

Infrared camera inspections can reveal problems that would not be found with a traditional home inspection

Find moisture intrusion, building envelope leaks, missing insulation and more. Our infrared (IR) camera

scans your building to discover conditions not visible to the naked eye.  IR cameras are one of

the most advance diagnostic tools available for building inspectors today; Luke Rabun is a

Level I Certified thermographer in building investigations.

Infrared cameras can reveal problems such as:

-  Hidden moisture intrusion

-  Roof leaks

-  Missing insulation

-  Electrical hot spots

-  HVAC duct leaks

-  The moisture source of microbial growth

-  Energy/Heat loss

An infrared camera is a non-contact device that detects infrared energy (heat) and converts it into an electronic signal, which is then processed to produce a thermal image on a video monitor and perform temperature calculations.  Temperature differences between building materials can reveal issues that would not normally be seen and detects issues without the need for destructive testing.

A infrared camera inspections can detect:

-  The origin of leaks

-  Potential electrical hazards

-  Moisture problems that can not be reached with a moisture meter

-  Plumbing leaks

-  Energy loss in the building envelope.
